My first visit to Israel was like a dream. It was deep and enriching for my soul. I had a desire to go to this little nation that was so attacked by the world, with one exception, the USA. God granted a special blessing to any nation that would stand beside Israel. By Gods grace we have been blessed and even through so much war and hatred, the nation of Israel is blessed as well.

As a result of the great calling on our country to share Christ, not only here but abroad, there has been a desire to bring people together. We are called Judeo-Christian for a reason. Jesus was Jewish. The early symbol for the early followers of Jesus, after The Resurrection, was the Fish. It was a way during persecution, for one to know who their brothers and sisters in Christ were. The Fish symbol was known by the Greek letters Icthus or ixthys, which can be used as an acronym for"Jesus Christ, Son of God, Savior."

While I was in Israel, I bought a piece of jewelry that was a Star with a cut out in the middle in the shape of an eye. An Orthodox Jew liked it and made a positive comment, twice. I began to think about a way one could make a way to tie our two nations together. As we are Judeo-Christian and we wanted to bring encouragement to our friends in Israel, I was given the vision of The STar Fish. Our friends at Fishers of Men jewelry came up with the most perfect design....in fact the one I saw in my mind. God is so good!!

Our recent trip to Israel was so exciting and we were able to bless many people with the Star Fish necklaces. My Orthodox friend was so blessed when He received his very own!!

Many have asked, "How did the people of Israel receive them?" When I shared that our Nation is a christian nation and that we were in support of them, joining our hearts with theirs, they received it gratefully. God will find a way. He always has.
