Dawn Vogt

Two German Mathematicians, August Ferdinand Mobius and Johann Benedict Listing discovered the Mobius strip in 1858. We took the Mobius design and personalized it as a memorial for Dawn Vogt. She was special to me and because of her; I look at things from a different perspective.

Dawn's Mobius has the words Strength, Humor, Courage, and Love.  All of which describe Dawn very well. We added a pink line to the Mobius for two reasons.  One, she loved the color pink and two, it reminds me that each of our lives is a thread all being sewn and woven into God's plan.  There are two sides of Dawn's Mobius. One side represents our walk in the flesh, the other our spiritual walk. The circle represents the never ending Love that Dawn had for family and friends. 

Upon hearing a certain sermon, I decided that it could be strength for everyone and not just cancer patients.

When a person is diagnosed with cancer they will do most anything to fight for their life.  The doctor takes a digital image of the cancer and starts laying forth a plan to combat and eradicate the disease. What if there was a machine that could take digital imagery of our soul?  What would show up? What would we see? If we take an honest look deep into our own soul and see what God sees, would we do everything in our power to combat and eradicate the wrongs that plague our soul?

After hearing this sermon, I realized that Dawn's pendant has turned into encouragement for our spiritual walk as well.  If you are battling cancer or battling something in the depths of your soul, my hope is that you will find strength in Christ and grow nearer to him and allow him to lead you through your various battles. I am thankful for the relationship I have with Christ and that he allowed mine and Dawn's lives (threads) to intertwine. Thanks Paul for the sermon.  God has great timing.
